I started the day with a quick visit to Ella's parent's house to capture the final moments of her getting ready and her Dad's reaction to her dress. Capturing real emotions and reactions is everything I love about being a documentary wedding photographer, and starting the day off with an image like this, I knew it was going to be something special.
A beautiful ceremony at St. Mildred's Church, Isle of Wight
Ella and Adam exchanged vows in front of family and friends at the beautiful St. Mildred's church in Whippingham. With its stunning architecture, incredible stained glass windows and tree-lined entranceway, it is a particular favourite of ours to photograph.
It also makes a stunning backdrop for family portraits and the most spectacular confetti shots.
Fun in the sun at Haseley Manor Wedding Reception
The reception venue for the day was Haseley Manor, a stunning 14th-century home on the Isle of Wight, with the most incredible grounds. The venue was beautifully decorated by Finishing Touches, Isle of Wight, with the most stunning florals and greenery by Sarah Matthews The cake was another wonderful creation by centrepiece cake designs.
Fun & Relaxed Couple portraits
We captured some relaxed and natural couple portraits in the gardens while Ben Stubbs played some wonderful acoustic music to guests in the courtyard before sitting down to a fantastic meal provided by The Garlic Farm and some emotional speeches.
Sparkler Wedding exit at Haseley Manor
With the help of Carrie from Wed & Prosper, we ended the day with the most beautiful sparkler wedding exit. Overall, it was the most beautiful day, spent with the loveliest people and everything I love about being a wedding photographer on the Isle of Wight.
